House Rules
Reservation After settling the 15% registration fee to Homestay, you will receive by email the host bank details, or Paypal account, in order to settle the total amount of the booking through a bank transfer which will secure the reservation of the room. Banking fees, if any, are to be borne by the guest. In the mean time, you will be requested to send by email a photocopy of your passport, your flight details (over and back) and for stay over 30 days, a civil liability insurance. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please inform your host and contact Homestay.com. If the cancellation is notified one month before arrival, you will be refunded the amount you paid minus a flat fee of 10% of the booking amount . If it is made 10 days before arrival, a fee of 30% will be kept by the host. For long-term stay (more than thirty days), the room fee will then be settled on a monthly basis on the 10th of each preceding month. A guarantee deposit corresponding to 10% of the total amount due for the entire stay will be requested at the time of registration on line and refunded from the final monthly payment. In case the guest departs before the due date, this guarantee deposit will be kept by the host. Various house rules Checking-in is requested after 1 pm and before 10 pm and checking-out is to done by 12 am. However, exceptions can be made for long distance flights. Do not invite strangers into the building. Please let your host know about your move in and out of the house, especially if you expect to come home late in the evening. Never bother the caretaker. The host is your only one point of contact in the building. You are expected to keep the bedroom, the shower room and the kitchen perfectly clean and tidy. Any damages you may cause will have to be replaced or refunded against an invoice for your civil liability insurance. Use of the kitchen is not permitted after 10 p.m. No noise or bursts of voices after 10 pm (apartment and building).
