Peaceful get away ex farmhouse
Overview
If you are a nature lover, this is the perfect place for your get away to switch off from the hustle and bustle of the day to day routine. We live in a peaceful area of the Morbihan countryside, 10 minutes drive from the beautiful and picturesque medieval town of Josselin and 20 minutes drive from the famous Broceliande wood. If you love walking, there are various paths around. We are about 10 minutes walk away from a footpath/cycle path running along the famous canal Nantes-Brest. Our village has a small shop, cafes/bars, bakery 30 minutes walk, 9 minutes cycling from the house and two restaurants near by, a creperie (16 mns walk), and a "Les Routiers" restaurant on the main road (30 mns walk). There is also a "Centre Culturel" where you will be able to borrow books, dvds, board games for free, and a sports hall where you could go and play badminton or even table tennis also for free. We have bicycles on site but if you want to explore the area further afield, you may need to hire a vehicle as the buses/coaches are not very frequent. There is a hire company within 45mns-1hour bicycle ride from the house. The nearest town with a fairly good size train station is Rennes, which also has an airport but not as big as the one in Nantes.
House Rules
Guests are required to tidy up after themselves in all the shared areas and ensure the recycling rules are respected. Strictly no smoking in the property at all times. House is not suitable for people who suffers with allergies to animals (we have two cats), nor allergies to pollen, we live in a rural area and we are surrounded by fields.
