Painting Studio Retreat
Overview
We live in a wonderful neighborhood with almost no neighbors in sight! You'll see them walking our street though and driving by to the nature preserve just down the way. You can walk the 1.25 miles into downtown from here or just down the road to the hiking trails. And we're just 15 minutes driving from Weaverville and 20-25 minutes from Asheville! Loads to do within minutes of our home and yet when you're here it's quiet and secluded. Especially the basement retreat which looks out on the nature preserve.
House Rules
We're a family so this is perfect for you if you're quiet and into wholesome fun. No drugs or partying. Quiet hours are 9pm-8am No smoking inside the room or near open windows. Laundry is available with fragrance free detergent. There is a refrigerator you can use right outside your room. The bathroom and kitchen are upstairs. We can also set up an electric kettle and toaster oven for you to use if you want to have tea or a late night snack without using the kitchen upstairs. Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after yourself. No pets are allowed inside. We have a dog so it's her house and we try to respect her. She's extremely friendly and loves a good pet. Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you would like to invite a friend over, ask first. Please respect our home but feel comfortable. Treat it as your own house for the duration of your stay. We live on the honor system and expect you to as well. Respect and honest communication are a must. We are a very creative family with many projects going all the time including sewing, crocheting, painting, bike building, gardening, cooking and more. We love living here in the mountains and hope you'll enjoy how amazing this place is!

This is a large room with a view of a nearby mountain preserve shaded by large trees, this room has a TV, internet, desk. There's private entry, a large closet and the bathroom is just upstairs outside the room.
