Near Downtown & Bus, Safe & Cozy!
Overview
Welcome! We have been hosting international guests for years. Queen size IKEA futon downstairs (cozy basement) with downstairs entrance so you can come and go with independence. There is an also a desk, dresser, carpet with laminate. There is just myself and a homestay female downstairs-my daughters are both away at university. You have your own space in the fridge in the kitchen, wifi, use of laundry, and we have 2 other homestay females downstairs (using downstairs kitchen and bath). Note: several appliances (including hotplate) but no stove. This is a quiet and safe neighbourhood truly almost downtown- a half hour walk or bus is a 3-minute walk away and goes directly downtown in 10 minutes. We have a really nice dog who will love you. 1 block to bike trail, cafe, bakery and grocery is a 10 minute walk. Both of my daughters left at the age of 17- so I understand the parent and student experience. A few words and clarity regarding payments and cancellations- Please understand that we respectfully request the following payment schedules: For one month or longer stays: full payment is required in advance or at the time of booking ( if less than one month in advance), and is accepted by etransfer or PayPal. Thank you. Cancellation It is our desire to serve those who need and want to stay with us, in a fair way. Also please understand that we largely complete these bookings on a monthly basis and those stays most often begin on the first of the month. For this reason if you need to cancel a booking we understand and can offer a refund for a cancellation which we receive a minimum of 1 month before a scheduled stay. This allows for others who wish to stay the opportunity to plan to do so. In this case, we will offer a full refund less an 15% administrative fee based on one month’s rent. House Rules
Quiet and respectful of property. Clean up if you use the kitchen. No guests. No parties, excess drinking, drugs or smoking. Return home by 10:30pm. Quiet time at 10pm. Full payment required before beginning of stay Passport ID required
