Luxe Bushwick Bedroom, JMZ Subway
Overview
Our luxury Brooklyn apartment has recently been renovated with stainless steel appliances, imported tiling, and thoughtful touches throughout the space. It's a huge duplex over 2 floors, with a living room and full bathroom on each floor. There are in total 5 bedrooms. I live in one full time and have a couple of permanent roommates. The other bedrooms are let out on places like Homestay. Most of us keep to ourselves so it's a quiet, peaceful environment. There is a coin-operated washer and dryer for your use in the basement. We have a huge backyard you can hang out in with lots of seating. The apartment also has an instant hot & cold drinking water filter; great for teas and coffees in the morning. I provide cereals, K-cup coffees, oatmeal, and eggs for our homestayers. The bedrooms are thoughtfully decorated and arranged. There is a queen bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress, dresser for your clothes, and a full-sized closet. I try my best to have my space designed in a convenient and thoughtful way -- let me know if you think anything is missing. You are welcome to use the kitchen and living room (has a TV with local channels and Chromecast). Nearby we have the JMZ subway at the Myrtle Ave stop, just a 3 minute walk away. There are many conveniences in the neighborhood: a nice coffee shop (Little Skips), fresh fruit and vegetable sellers, a pizza place, drugstore, and many bodegas that serve quick sandwiches and salads, not to mention tons of options if you want food delivery. Transit time to downtown Manhattan / Chinatown is just 15-20 minutes (J line) and about 30 minutes for midtown directly from the M line. From the J and M you have many other options to transfer to other subway lines for getting all over NYC and Manhattan. I prefer to host stays of 1 month or longer in the winter months and am flexible during the rest of the year. Please contact me if you're interested or have any other questions regarding the space.
