HOME AWAY FROM HOME – Kapiti Coast
Overview
Spacious 258 sqm freestanding home on a large section, with views of Kapiti in a quiet neighbourhood. Your stay includes a private wing of the house with double bedroom (queen bed, desk, Wi-Fi) and your own bathroom with spa bath and separate toilet. All linen, towels, and bedding provided. Our home is quiet and relaxed. The host works from home while the rest of the family is overseas. We share the space with three calm cats. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, garden, laundry (washer & dryer), bike, and media room with Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Plenty of parking is available on site. Location 10 minutes by bike or car to the beach and Coastlands shopping centre Close to Kapiti Coast Airport and expressway Easy access to trains and buses into Wellington Local cafés and restaurants nearby Perfect base for exploring Kapiti Island, coastal walks, and the wider Kapiti Coast On arrival Fresh linen, towels, and soap provided Complimentary tea and coffee available at all times Use of kitchen to prepare your own meals Washing machine and dryer available House Style Quiet, clean, and welcoming. You’ll have privacy in your own wing but are welcome to join in shared spaces. Late cancellations cannot be refunded. We do not have credit card facilities Languages English and Dutch spoken.
House Rules
Payment & Cancellation Payment is due on the first day of arrival. You can pay in cash, or by bank transfer (NZ or EU bank account). Identification is required on arrival. Homestay.com charges a 15% service fee which goes to them, not to us. Please give at least 14 days’ notice if you need to cancel. Later cancellations can’t be refunded, as we keep the room reserved for you. House Rules Please keep your room and bathroom tidy during your stay. No uninvited guests – if you’d like to have a friend over, just check with us first. We appreciate it if you’re happy to lend a hand with small household things (like emptying the dishwasher). Treat the house (and our three cats) with the same care you would in your own home. Note We do not have credit card facilities.
