Hi, I’m Sarita, and I’m excited to welcome you to our home! We live in a spacious three-story house at 35 Jolly Way, Scarborough, ON. Our family is warm, friendly, and loves hosting guests from different backgrounds. I live with my loving husband and our two wonderful daughters. We enjoy spending quality time together, sharing breakfast, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Our home is a comfortable and safe space where you’ll feel like part of the family. Whether you’re here for study, work, or travel, we look forward to making your stay enjoyable and memorable. We are happy to help you settle in, explore the city, and experience Canadian culture. We can’t wait to meet you!
House Rules
General House Rules: Respect Others – Be mindful of housemates' privacy, personal space, and belongings. Quiet Hours – Keep noise levels low, especially between 9:30 PM and 8 AM. Visitors – Guests are NOT allowed. No Pets Allowed No Smoking or Drugs – Smoking, vaping, drinking, or drug use are strictly prohibited inside the home. Respect Cultural Differences – Embrace diversity and be considerate of different traditions and habits. Cleanliness – Keep common areas tidy and clean up after yourself. Lock Doors and Windows – Secure all doors and windows when leaving the house. No Open Flames – Candles, incense, and open flames are not allowed inside the home. Respect Shared Spaces – Do not leave personal belongings in common areas. Secure Valuables – Keep valuable items such as electronics, jewelry, important documents, and cash in a safe place. No Toxic or Hazardous Substances – Do not bring or store sharp/hazardous substance like knife, dagger, etc. or toxic chemicals, including cleaning products, paints, solvents, or pesticides, without prior approval from the host. Kitchen Rules: • Clean After Cooking – Wash dishes, wipe counters, and remove trash after use. • Label Personal Food Items – Store food in designated areas to avoid confusion. • Share Responsibly – Do not take others' food or kitchen items without permission. • Proper Waste Disposal – Follow recycling and garbage disposal guidelines. Bathroom & Laundry Rules: Keep It Clean – Wipe down surfaces after use and remove personal items. Keep Drains Unclogged – Avoid throwing hair, food, or waste into sinks and showers. Limit Shower Time – Be mindful of water usage, especially during peak hours. Laundry Use – Follow a schedule to avoid conflicts. If on weekday (Mon – Fri) do laundry after 7 pm or only during weekends (Sat and Sun)
