Family Homestay & Spanish Lessons
Overview
We offer you to stay with a Bolivian family and have the option to take qualified Spanish lessons with the family host (a professional language teacher) in our house. We're very centrally located, 10 minutes walk from and to the centre, near the parks and the soccer stadium Hernando Siles in Miraflores. The house is on Avenida Simon Bolivar, which connects Avenida Camacho that is parallel to Avenida 16 de Julio (Main avenue). Miraflores is a safe area, close to banks, ATMs, markets, shops, cafes, restaurants, etc. It is also near the hospitals and the Medicine Faculty of Universidad Mayor de San Andres. Breakfast is not included, so you can use the kitchen to make your own breakfast and keep your goods in the fridge. We're always eager to provide you with any information, tips or useful hints about the city and to tell you about different cultural aspects. Spanish lessons are available anytime during your stay, 1-3 hrs/day. (13 $us /hour ) Lessons can range from beginners, learning essential grammar, to intermediate and advanced levels. Lessons will be certainly customized for your language needs. A guided walking tour around the city (4-5 hrs) is also available for you to get to know every corner of the city, including view points, tourist attractions, market area, old part of the city and museums, as well as less explored areas. (50 $us ) We are a very friendly family, consisting of a father, two children (15, 21) and a dog. (Hope you like dogs) Welcome to our house!
House Rules
The guest has his or her own key for the room and the house. If they go out at night for a party, they should return no later than 2:00 am and they have to lock the door after that. Let the family know if you will be away for more than one day.
