Overview
Hello, I'm Mary, your host in a cozy house in the Miñor Valley, very close to Vigo. I offer accommodation (Homestay-Full-board), breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus laundry service (once a week), included in the price of your stay. Note: Additional laundry service (more than once a week) will have an additional charge of 8 euros per load. If you only want a B&B or Half-board stay, we can also arrange this and include it in the final price of your stay. Description: -I have 2 private rooms in the Main House (available inside the house) that include a wardrobe, TV, desk and lamp, Wi-Fi, heating, a garden, and beautiful views. -I also have a bungalow for 2 people, located on the property but completely separate from the Main House.The bungalow is only available during the summer months (July-August-September) and does not include food and laundry services, as it has a washing machine inside. To rent the bungalow, and after booking through the Homestay platform, the guest must agree to an additional rental agreement with me directly, which will then be sent to the Homestay platform as proof of agreement between the parties. The bungalow is fully equipped and has a kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, Wi-Fi, a garden, a terrace, private parking, a barbecue, and beautiful views of the valley. About the hosts: Mary is a language teacher who speaks English and Spanish and enjoys sports, reading, cooking, music, concerts, festivals, socializing, traveling, learning other languages, television, gardening, and nature. Her husband, José, is a lover of good food and loves to share his recipes. In addition to Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French are spoken at home. We enjoy cooking and innovating with different recipes, listening to music, concerts, festivals, reading, learning other languages, traveling, gardening, and nature. Mary and José have one daughter who sometimes visits the house but lives outside the house for her university studies. We also have a cute little dog who doesn't live inside the house but has his own space in a designated area within the garden. Optional Services at very reasonable and affordable prices: "CAMINO DE SANTIAGO" (The Way of St. James): For all those interested in starting a mini-route of the Portuguese Way of St. James and walking a few kilometers, or getting their Credential at the start of the route stamped at the TUI Cathedral, we can offer a hiking route, a guide, and guidance at a very reasonable and affordable price, which will be agreed upon with the guest. For those interested in learning and improving their Spanish, we offer: Spanish classes with teaching materials included. Price: 27 EUR/hour. Spanish cooking and gastronomy classes with teaching materials, video, and recipe book included. Price: 35 EUR/session. For wine and Albariño winery lovers, we can offer a wine tour at very reasonable prices. Nearby transportation services: The local bus station is just 1.8 km from the house, very close to the property, and has daily bus lines to Vigo (Vialia shopping center and bus and train station), Ramallosa, Nigrán, Baiona, and Playas. Our guests can visit places like Vigo, Nigrán, Baiona, Santiago de Compostela, Tui, Valença do Minho in Portugal, Gondomar, the Cies Islands, Playa América, Patos and Panxón, the Vigo Theater, go shopping, and much more.
House Rules
RULES FOR THE STAY INSIDE THE FAMILY HOME: Please keep our house safe and lock the front door when you come in and out Please don't adjust the heating. Ask me and I will be delighted for you. Any questions related to the operation of the house or devices please consult the hosts Do not eat or bring food and drinks to the room. You can use the kitchen area for this. No smoking inside the family home. Animals are not allowed inside the family home. Keep the room clean and tidy Keep noise to a minimum after midnight Please do not invite strangers to our house Enjoy your stay and take care of our house as if it were your own. RULES FOR THE INDEPENDENT STAY IN THE BUNGALOW: No smoking inside the house. You are reminded to close the doors and windows when leaving the house. Feel free to use the kitchen, but please clean up after use. Please do not bring strangers into our home. If you want to invite a friend, ask first to inform and coordinate with the hosts. Strangers may not remain wandering around the farm, spend the night on the property or stay overnight in the accommodation with the guest. A deposit of €300 is required to cover possible damages, which will be returned at the end of the stay if everything is correct. Pets: In the event that the bungalow guest brings pets (as long as they are small, a cat or dog), a deposit of 650 euros will be required, which will be returned at the end of the stay if everything is correct. Important: The guest is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, proper use and proper functioning of the furniture and electrical appliances during their stay. You must inform the host of any incident or damage. The guest is responsible for cleaning or extra financial compensation for any damage that the pet could cause to the furniture or equipment of the bungalow. For the rental of the bungalow, and after having made the reservation through Homestay, the guest must agree an additional rental contract with me directly and that will then be sent to the Homestay platform as proof of the agreement between the parties.
