El Ancla House (Art and Nature)
Overview
Enjoy Havana from the beach, surrounded by nature and with quick access to the city, at Casa el Ancla. Casa El Ancla is 40 meters from the beautiful Punta Macao beach, 1Km from the mountains and other nature activities: hiking, diving, horse riding, catamaran rides and others. It also has colorful terraces and a high viewpoint-solarium, ideal to enjoy rich breakfasts or dinners watching the sea and the mountains of Guanabo. This large house, designed and decorated by this family, is divided into 3 independent apartments with many common areas: large living rooms, a pleasant central interior patio, large furnished terraces, Barbecue area (coal oven) and a high viewpoint of beautiful views to the nature of Guanabo.
House Rules
General rules of Casa El Ancla: Dear guest, our rules are very simple and easy to follow. Please understand that it is a combination of our legal obligations in Cuba and the optimal functioning of our house and its services. About guests and their visitors: -It is mandatory that ALL GUESTS present their PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION (identity card or passport). INCLUDING MINORS. -We will require a MANDATORY REGISTER. IMPORTANT: We will love that you receive visits from family and friends, but: -It is MANDATORY to consult this aspect beforehand. - Visitors must present their PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION (identity card or passport). Including minors. -Visits will be UNTIL 8PM. On the air conditioning and the rooms: -Before turning on the air conditioning, you have to CLOSE ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS in the room. -The air conditioning will be used ONLY 12 HOURS A DAY. -Please DO NOT SMOKE inside the rooms. About the noise: - WE DON'T ALLOW HOLIDAYS, TO AVOID ANNOUNCEMENTS TO OTHER GUESTS who share common spaces with you (terraces, lounges, etc.) and OUR NEIGHBORS. -The volume of music, the game of dominoes or other activities that generate noise should be moderated during the day and SUSPENDED BEFORE 11PM. On loss and breakage: -In case of partial or total breaks of household utensils, household appliances, decorative objects (unique handmade pieces) and other things that we put at your disposal ... MUST BE SPARE PARTS OR PAID. -On the other hand, we will be able to REMOVE everything that you CONSIDER UNNECESSARY during your stay. -We deliver keys to all the doors of rooms and common spaces, your privacy is very important, but: WE WILL BE OBLIGED TO CHARGE THEM 15CUC IF THE WRENCHES ARE REMOVED. About cleaning and provisioning (in case of more than 2 nights): -In our house it is necessary to clean from Monday to Saturday and change the bedding and towels every other day. We can make exceptions, but this is our regularity. About other national laws: In Cuba it is punishable by law: -THE CONSUMPTION OR DRUGS (only tobacco, alcohol and coffee are legal.) -Effect sexual relations with people under 18 years.
