Welcome to our peaceful homestay, located just 20 km from the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and close to Kandy, home of the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. We’re also within easy reach of the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and the historic temples of Embekke, Lankathilaka, and Gadaladeniya. For those who love to explore, day trips to Sigiriya Lion Rock and the Dambulla Cave Temple can easily be arranged. Our home sits on top of a hill in a lush private estate, surrounded by a large, beautiful garden — a perfect setting for relaxation and connecting with nature. You can enjoy elephant rides or visit the nearby Elephant Museum, and we’re happy to help you arrange any local travel with trusted guides or travel agents. We are a warm and friendly family of four — my husband, our son, daughter, and myself — and we love to share genuine Sri Lankan hospitality with our guests. We also serve delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan meals, made with care and local ingredients. 1.Respect the Home and Family – Please treat our home, garden, and belongings with care. 2.Quiet Hours – Kindly keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM to ensure everyone enjoys a peaceful rest. 3.No Smoking Indoors – Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas. 4.No Pets – Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets. 5.Visitors – Please inform us in advance if you wish to invite visitors. 6.Cleanliness – Please keep your room and common areas tidy. 7.Meals – Home-cooked meals are available on request; let us know in advance if you’d like to try our Sri Lankan dishes. 8.Environmental Care – Help us save energy and water — turn off lights, fans, and taps when not in use.
