Cozy Garage Room
Overview
This is a newly finished garage apartment with a private entrance. It has a full bath and a kitchen. It sits in the lovely backyard of our 100 year old craftsman home in which we live. We would be sharing the backyard area. We are available to offer guidance and advice for our guests. We are parents of two Ethiopian adopted teens. We are a well traveled family who loves to meet folks from abroad. I am a theatre and film actor/teacher, and my wife, Lori, has her masters in ESL and works with a non-profit that serves immigrants and refugees. We enjoy international foods, travel, books and the arts. We have two friendly cats and a small friendly dog (A Skipper-Pom). This is a very beautiful and quiet neighborhood in the city - within walking distance of two small business districts with cafes and shops. The MAX (light rail) is a 15 minute walk. This room has a loft for sleeping as well as an option for sleeping on the main floor. This apartment does fit three, but it is ideal for one or two. You can see the size in the photos. However, family of four might manage nicely, so long as spending time out and about was the primary goal.
House Rules
Low Noise after 10pm and before 8am. Normal conversation is fine at any time ;-)

If this were a couple with a child, this would work fine - as there is a futon couch downstairs that the child could sleep on while there is a queen bed in the loft.
