Cosy Townhouse (north brisbane)
Overview
We would love to welcome you to our cozy little home. We are a happily married couple, Matt is a physiotherapist, Andrea is a nurse, Harrison is our newest addition to the family as of Nov 2024 and Coco is our cheeky Ragdoll cat. We live extremely close (50 meters) to a bus stop and would be more then happy to show you how to use the public transport system in Australia. We are happy for you to join us every night for dinner if you like to chat and practice your English or just as happy to let you have your space so you can do your own thing. Andrea is South Korean and speaks the language fluently and Matt is Australian born and bred. Guests will have their own bathroom (it will be shared as baby Harrison likes to use the bath tub every night around 6pm) and your room is fully air conditioned which is perfect for this sticky summer heat!
House Rules
Whilst students/guests are not allowed to use the kitchen they are allowed to make simple meals like ramyeon and sandwiches anytime they like. Food is not to be eaten in the guestrooms. There is no smoking Dinner is usually served around 7.30-8pm and guests are encouraged to help with setting the table and helping with washing the dishes afterwards. If a student is eating out for dinner or coming home later than usual it is an expected courtesy that the student texts the host. Guest rooms are to be kept in a reasonably tidy state and cleaned every Friday afternoon along with the guest bathroom and guest toilet. Laundry is done once a week on an agreed day. We can work that out when you arrive. Guests are not allowed to bring friends home unless the hosts are also home during the times the guest's friends are invited.
