Close to Embankment & Town centre
Overview
We are close to the Town Centre and a few steps away from the Embankment, with lovely walks along the River Great Ouse and easy access to all of Bedford's fantastic culinary, cultural and sporting activities. My three-bedroom home has recently been refurbished throughout and extended on the ground floor, to create a beautiful open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge, which leads directly out onto the garden. In the summer, this is a lush little oasis, with plenty of areas to sit and relax, together with a second dining table on the patio for alfresco dining. In the winter, it is cosy and welcoming, with a dual-aspect wood burning stove and underfloor heating downstairs. An individual, a couple or a couple with a baby all very welcome. The dressing room has been a great nursery for my own baby grandson! It's not really big enough for a family with older children (sorry). I have an energetic, but well-behaved bearded collie dog, who stays downstairs and enjoys a walk morning and evening. Guests have use of their own double bedroom and bathroom (shower, toilet and handbasin) and shared use of the third bedroom as a dressing room or nursery. I have lived in and around Bedford for a couple of decades and am an avid tennis player, Zumba dancer, rambler and gardener, as well as a reformed rower, so can introduce you to many of the fabulous social and sports activities that Bedford has to offer!
