Overview
Traditional Portuguese house built in 1931 with a new modern wing added recently. Basic clean and neat rooms with attached toilet and bath. The room has amenities like AC, mini refrigerator, wardrobe and hot water through solar geyser. The room is ideal for a single person or a couple. Good and decent neighbourhood with residences owned by foreign nationals too. Bang on the main road, with a restaurant on the premises and plenty of outdoor street parking available. Essentials available within walking distance - fresh fish, meat and vegetables and a supermarket. Local and international cusine restaurants within walking distance. Local bus stop outside the premises with buses that ply every 15-20 minutes to the main city of Panjim (8 kms) and the beaches of Candolim and Calangute (6 kms). Rent-a-car or bike can be arranged. Car and driver can also arranged for airport transfers and sightseeing trips on separate payment.
House Rules
For reservation to be confirmed, advance payment of 25% on booking and balance 75% due upon arrival. Government issued ID required for every staying guest of Indian nationality. Foreign nationals need to submit valid passport and visa copies. Guests may be required to sign a visitor register. Water supply is from the house well and this is used by us for drinking purpose too. Drinking water is boiled and filtered. Guests may buy their own bottled water if they are uncomfortable drinking well-water. Hot water is from solar geyser with limited capacity and should not be wasted. Roof-top solar panels have also been installed for electricity generation. Wifi is available free of cost Smoking is prohibited within the rooms, but allowed outdoors in open garden area, as long as cleanliness is maintained. Room cleaning is provided on a daily basis, if requested only. In general, guest rooms are not opened by the owner unless requested for cleaning purpose.
