Bungalow 2
Overview
Bungalow 2 is a 150 years old (or older) house and was originally a part of the Raikabagh Palace, erstwhile residence of the Maharajas of Jodhpur. The building has been renovated recently with some additions and great care has been taken in retaining the "Old World Charm" of the property. The place has been our family residence for more than 70 years now and today, with all mod cons, we are open to all interested in staying with us at a Home in the land of Marwar. Built in carved Jodhpur Red Sandstone, Bungalow 2 has 5 rooms open to its guests. All have an elegant blend of British colonial and local decor with furniture crafted by local artisans. A fusion style of modern comfort with the traditional Rajput heritage. The meals for our guests come from our family kitchen, prepared not by professional cooks, but by ladies who rather prefer to continue with their traditional family recipes.
