Bright and Cozy Furnished Rooms
Overview
Our beautifully updated home is nestled in the centre of Shoreline (North Seattle), close to shopping (Town and Country, Trader Joes, and Safeway), restaurants, live entertainment, Shoreline Community College, brand new light rail stations, biking trails, and a multiple parks. We will keep the space stocked with basic necessities, toilet paper, towels, etc. But we will also keep some food stocked in the fridge and pantry for the guest to enjoy during their stay, in addition to light breakfast fare. Our home consists of our 15-year-old Son Dylan (Learning French) and is an avid runner, a 12-year-old Daughter Giuliana (Learning Japanese), who plays softball, and LOVES cats (we have 2 cats and a dog- the dog stays downstairs with us), and a 3 year old Son Liam, my husband Taylor who is a professional chef, and I (Leah). We own a local restaurant which keeps us busy, but we love to host and cook for people. Our family will stay in the basement (and backyard) portion of the home with our own living amenities. But would love to share a daily meal with our guests (we would use the main Chef's kitchen upstairs for this meal, bring it already prepared, or dine at the restaurant, but would love to dine with our guest(s)). We have two furnished bedrooms (One queen-size bed, and one full-size bed) both with locked doors. Available for female tenants (18 and over) only. Both have a desk and chair, lamp, dresser, and closet. There is a shared kitchen, bathroom, TV room, sitting, and dining area -indoor and outdoor. We have a small grassed front yard and garden, and a brand-new deck with an outdoor dining table and grill. We do have a laundry room in the basement that we can coordinate the usage of since we have the dog downstairs, or there is a laundromat nearby. As a family we love going to the beach, to parks, having bonfires in our backyard, watching movies, and going for hikes and would gladly welcome you to join us on any of these adventures. We are excited to open our home to you and look forward to getting to know you.
House Rules
- If you have a vehicle you are ok to park one vehicle (at an angle to allow room for homeowners and other homestay guest) in our parking easement in front of our house - Laundry room can be used (at no additional charge) during agreed upon hours (so we can properly secure our dog). - No overnight guests allowed, must leave by quiet hour(listed below) - Quiet hours are daily - - outside areas (9pm-8am) - inside ( 10pm-7am) - No Smoking anywhere on the property - $100 fine will be charged per occurrence for both smoking and vaping inside the residence - Vaping only allowed outside the residence - $100 fine will be charged per occurrence for both smoking and vaping inside the residence - Sorry, but no pets allowed. - Be kind to both cats that are on the property. They will wonder around between the basement and the upstairs, are both sweet, and well behaved. - All garbage is to be removed from rooms and shared spaces and disposed of in proper bins, and taken out to the curb every Thursday evening. - Guests must keep a tidy area, and clean up after themselves (including dishes, garbage, bathroom essentials etc)
