Overview

Two rooms are available, one with a private bathroom (the other shared with another person), in a hillside villa just 2 km from the center. The location is beautiful, overlooking the mountains, with a large terrace, courtyard, vegetable garden, orchard, and garden, complete with a pond and aquatic plants. The house is a place of research and experimentation in music, humanities, and natural agriculture. Regenerative agriculture is practiced in the garden, and on the ground floor there is a small laboratory for fermented and agricultural preparations. We are looking for people interested in a medium-term living experience open to sharing knowledge and experiences, while allowing for plenty of freedom. Come and meet us.

House Rules

TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT It's part of our lifestyle to take care of the environment as best we can. While you're here, we expect you to be part of this project. This means: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Compost. Avoid using toxic cleaning products, as everything ends up in a septic tank, where microorganisms must survive to do their part. For cleaning, use baking soda, vinegar, alcohol, and low-impact detergents provided by the house, and the earth will thank you. The house is heated by a large catalytic wood-burning stove that is loaded twice a day. We light it in the fall and turn it off in the spring, nourishing the heart of the house with continuous heat that gradually fills every room, keeping the walls at a comfortable temperature (usually around 18-20 degrees Celsius, with occasional drops to 15-16 degrees Celsius on colder nights). For better heat distribution, it's best to leave room doors open or ajar whenever possible. If you need higher temperatures, radiators can be turned on for a surcharge of €7 per day. - We have double-glazed windows, so please make sure both doors leading to the terrace are closed in winter. - Always close the front door or at least leave it ajar. This prevents unnecessary heat loss in winter. - Don't leave hot water running unnecessarily while washing dishes. Prepare a bowl of warm water, soap up a sponge, and start soaping the dishes. Only turn on the water to rinse quickly and efficiently. - Use the washing machine and electric oven preferably between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM. - Turn off all lights you're not using. Don't forget any outside lights. - Separate plastic, glass, paper, batteries, and any electronic waste. You'll find containers for this in the kitchen and on the porch. If you have any questions, ask! - Compost has its own corner in the garden. - We limit electrosmog by avoiding leaving the Wi-Fi on unnecessarily. The Wi-Fi is turned off at 11:00 PM and turned back on in the morning by the first person who needs it. Anyone who needs to use it at night can turn it back on and is responsible for turning it off. - The gate remains open during the day and closed in the evening. If you return after dinner and find it still open, you are responsible for closing it. LIVING TOGETHER For those new to living together, here are some tips that may seem obvious, but truly contribute to everyone's happiness and livability: - Keep common areas clean and tidy: don't leave jackets, purses, or personal items scattered around. - Don't smoke inside!! There's a large terrace suitable for this. - Wash your dishes. Do it promptly. Don't leave dirty items cluttering the sink or table. - Avoid making noise or talking loudly after 11 p.m.
