Aussie volunteer in Tonga
Overview
Central Apartment in Nuku'alofa (capital of Tonga) I have a 3 bedroom light & airy second storey apartment which is close to Central Market and the other places of interest mentioned in Lonely Planet. There are good transport options available and off street parking. If you like exploring and walking I can show you some of the highlights of Tonga. I have a bike and snorkelling gear you can borrow and there are lots of fresh fruit & veggie markets close by. A Tongan family lives in the house at the front and there is a dog, 3 pigs and a roaming rooster.
House Rules
Please keep my home secure and lock the front door when leaving the house. Feel free to use the kitchen but please clean up after! I am a vegetarian and would prefer no meat (except fish) is cooked in the kitchen. Please do not invite strangers to my home. If you need to invite someone in, please agree with me in advance. Please be aware of the cost of electricity and the shortage of water in Tonga and be conservative in your usage and turn lights off when not in use. Please do not pat or feed the dog. No smoking in the house.
