Overview
The house is on the boarder between Mt Airy and Germantown section of the city . Great and popular suburb of Philadelphia (still officially Phila). Close to the Lincoln Drive (parkway) and Fairmount Park (largest city park in the country). There is a regional train station call Upsal Station (Septa name of transportation Co.) that is one block away and is used to travel to downtown Philadelphia (Center City), New York City or Chestnut Hill. There is a food Co-Op (called Weavers Way) 4 blocks away that sells only the freshest foods, yoga studio, coffee shop, cleaners are also in this area. There is some night life esp restaurants, theater and some dancing in downtown Mt Airy or Chestnut Hill. These are both a 5 min Uber/taxi ride away. The property is a three story Victorian. The first floor we use as living space as well as an Art Gallery. We some times have art showing or even special events outside in the spring, summer and fall--including music, artist demonstrations, food etc. Neighbors and neighborhood is laid-back yet active at the same time as it is a city suburb filled with a very diverse mix of city people. The house has 5 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, off street parking, bikes if you need them, TV with DVD player and patio if you would like to sit ouside.
