Accommodation with a Brazilian couple
Overview
Hello, we are a young couple of Brazilians who live on a large and comfortable floor in the neighborhood of Rocafonda, in Mataró. We would love to share our home with students, as we greatly value cultural and linguistic exchange. At home we speak Portuguese, Spanish, English and a little bit of Catalan. We offer a large, walled-up room, with double bed, built-in closets, fan, study desk and television with access to streaming platforms. The rest of the spaces — bathroom, kitchen, dining room and laundry room — are shared, and you will be completely free to use them. Furthermore, you can enjoy a large outdoor terrace overlooking the main street. We work from home, so we keep the floor clean and we are available to help you with whatever you need. Right in front of the building there is a bus stop that connects directly with TecnoCampus. It will be a great place to welcome you and spend time with you!
House Rules
Check-in and Check-out times: Check-in is available from 15:00 and check-out must take place before 12:00 (midday). If you need to adjust these schedules, please contact us in advance — we will be able to adapt to your needs. Quiet hours: Out of respect for everyone, we ask that silence be maintained between 11pm and 8am, especially in communal areas. Responsible consumption: We like to be sustainable, so we ask for attention to save energy and water — for example, turning off the lights when leaving a room and not leaving the lights open unnecessarily. Furthermore, separate the organic base from the recyclable one. Cleaning and organization: Communal spaces must be kept clean and organized after use (kitchen, bathroom, living room, laundry, etc.). Smoking: Smoking is only permitted on the outdoor terrace. Basura: Please remove the base and discard it in the appropriate containers, following the indicated separation. Visits: They are not allowed. Use of the kitchen: The kitchen can be used freely, but it is important to wash and store the utensils after use. Laundry: Previously agreed schedules can be used to avoid overloads. We offer detergent and softener for your convenience — a charge of €5 will apply for each wash. We don't have a dryer, but we have tenders available to dry the clothes. Please remember to remove your clothes from the washer as soon as the cycle ends. Coexistence: We value a respectful, welcoming and well-communicated environment. Any need, doubt or inconvenience can (and should) be discussed calmly. We are against any type of discrimination and perjuice. Bath and Face Towels: We provide bath and face towels at the beginning of the stay. However, it will not change during the stay, which is why we ask that your guests stay in a suitable place so that they stay and remain in good condition. Payment Methods: We ask that the payment method be confirmed before arrival, to guarantee a smooth and comfortable experience for both parties. It can be paid through Bizum, bank transfer or in cash, as previously agreed with the host. Cancellation policy: To guarantee good organization and avoid harm, we kindly ask guests to inform us at least 4 days in advance if they need to cancel or modify their stay. This is because the platform has eliminated the reservation fee, which means that our hosts assume the risk of last-minute cancellations, without any type of compensation. We thank you for your understanding and respect for this standard, which helps us maintain a fair experience for everyone.
