600m from Burleigh Beach
Overview
My wife Maria Ines, an art teacher and kindergarten teacher and myself - an ex teacher from Germany - have lived in Australia for more than 10 years. Our 2 level house with garden and pool is only 600m away from Burleigh Beach and the Gold Coast Highway in an excellent position. Cafes and James Street in walking distance plus various bus stops. We have hosted travellers from all over the world and welcome our guests here at the GC in a relaxed and easy going atmosphere. We offer long time staying at discount prices, just ask by email. Minimum booking is 7 nights. Pls ask in case you want to stay for a few nights only. We will pick you up from Coolangatta Airport or Varsity Train station when you come from BNE. This has to be arranged and confirmed via email before. Pls book as early as possible.
House Rules
Normal home rules which you will receive on arrival. No loud music or phone calls after 10 pm. We have many places in the house or garden where you can withdraw and be for yourself. The house has 3 bathrooms, 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs. We have between 3 and 5 children in the house downstairs only, 3 to 6 years old: Stand Alone Childcare. They come around 8am and stay until being picked up around 5pm. Only Mon to Friday. They are using the toilet downstairs and are doing art work and are playing in the garden and pool area. So our guest must know, over the day children are around with the laughter and noise that a small group of childen generates though being supervised. On weekends and after 5pm the whole ground level is available plus our own level and deck upstairs.
