Description
Every November 1st and 2nd, Bolivian families welcome back the souls of their loved ones.
Join this emotional walk through the smells, colors, and faith that make Todos Santos one of the most beautiful traditions in La Paz.
We’ll start in the heart of the city and visit local markets where you’ll see t’antawawas (bread babies) and other symbolic foods made to receive the souls.
Then we’ll take the cable car to the llamita cemetery and then finish at the General Cemetery, where locals decorate graves with music, flowers, and food — a celebration of life, love, and memory.
You’ll learn how Andean and Catholic beliefs mixed to create a day that’s not sad, but full of gratitude.
✨ Why you’ll love this walk:
It’s a deep, emotional cultural experience.
You’ll taste traditional t’antawawas and learn their meaning.
You’ll see how locals honor their loved ones with joy, not tears.
You’ll feel part of one of the most sacred Bolivian days.
