Itinerary
Meeting Point: Chiang Mai Gate (Pratu Chiang Mai) at 13:30 hrs. Look for your guide holding a sign. We’ll start with a friendly greeting and a brief history of Chiang Mai.
Wualai Silver Community Street (10 min walk)
Stroll along Wualai Road, home to Chiang Mai’s famous silver artisans.
Wat Sri Suphan – The Silver Temple (40–50 min)
Visit the first and largest silver temple in the world. Admire intricate silver carvings and learn about its history.
Hands-on Workshop: create your own aluminum artwork or keychain as a meaningful souvenir.
Wat Muen San – Hidden Gem (5 min walk)
Discover another beautiful silver temple and the 75 kg silver Buddha. Visit the Lacquerware Museum showcasing rare Northern Thai royal art.
Wat Yang Kuang – Thai Yai/Burmese-Style Temple (10 min walk)
Explore a temple with elegant wooden carvings and a tranquil atmosphere.
Kad Kom Local Market – Final Stop
End the tour at a lively market with Chiang Mai snacks, fresh fruit, and colorful sights. Tour ends around 16:30 hrs.
After exploring silver heritage, handcrafted temples, and local markets, you’ll leave with souvenirs made by your own hands and a deeper appreciation of Chiang Mai’s culture and artistry.
What to Prepare
- Temple/workshop/donations under a hundred Thai Baht each.
- Dress Code: Ladies cover shoulders and knees; men should wear respectful attire.
