Born and raised in the heart of Bukhara city, I remember walking by historical buildings and seeing how amazed visitors were by my hometown and its architecture. This stuck with me and is most probably the reason I am a tour guide today. After finishing school, I studied at the Institute of Oriental Studies. Now back in my beloved Bukhara, I also work part-time in the city’s History Museum as a researcher when not leading tours. This allows me to share more in-depth information with my most curious guests! Married with two sons, I spend most of my spare time with my family. I also enjoy chess, ping pong and learning languages.

During the excursion We will see with you ancient Bukhara with an area of about 200 hectares, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Together we will see beautiful monuments with blue domes, tiles, mosaics.
On my tour I will tell you historical facts about Bukhara, interesting legends, about the life of people and traditions. I compare historical events with different cities, such as Samarkand, Khiva and Tashkent. At the end of the tour you will have a picture not only of Bukhara but also of Central Asia.
1. Lyabi-Khauz is the most famous square of Bukhara, 17th centuries
2. Magoki-Attori Mosque is a unique complex built on the site of an ancient Zoroastrian temple. XII century.
3. Trading domes – Toki-Zargaron, Toki-Sarrafon, Toki-Tilpak-Furushon. 16th century
4. Kosh-Madrasah ensemble – madrasah of the outstanding astronomer Ulugbek and madrasah of ruler Abdulaziz Khan. in the 15th-17th centuries
5. Poi-Kalyan ensemble (12th-16th centuries) – the central architectural complex of Bukhara
6. Ark Citadel – the most ancient citadel and residence of Bukhara rulers. 4th century BC
7. Bolo-Khauz complex – It is located opposite the Ark – the emir’s fortress. 18th century
8. Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum – “Source of Ayub (Job)”) – one of the most mysterious buildings in Bukhara. XII- XV-XVI centuries
9. Samanid Mausoleum -one of the most ancient historical sights of Bukhara. IX-X centuries
