History Walks with Mario - Story of an incredible city
Hi! My name is Mario and I am a licensed tour guide from the beautiful Dubrovnik, city where I was born and raised. As a passionate history lover, I enjoy sharing the rich and fascinating stories of my hometown. Whether you’re interested in ancient walls, hidden legends, Game of Thrones or local culture, I’m here to bring Dubrovnik’s history to life for you. I will wait for you in front of Amerling Fountain on the Pile square (located between restaurant “Dubravka” and Dubrovnik tourist board). I will be holding white cardboard with Super Mario logo and my name on it.
Description
Hello and welcome to my Dubrovnik tour!
Together we will discover Dubrovnik on foot - the perfect way to get to know this amazing city. On this relaxed and fun walking tour, we’ll explore the city’s top sights, hear some cool stories, local legends and fun facts, plus I will gladly use my local knowledge and share tips on what to see, where to go, and some hidden gems you might otherwise miss. Give me a chance to guide you through these ancient streets, and you’ll found out what sets Dubrovnik apart from any other city.
Tours lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Fluent level of English is desirable.
I love to make sure my walkers get the most out of their visit so please come with lots of questions so we can make tour your own.
There’s a bit of walking on the tour, but nothing too difficult - just a few spots with steps here and there. Make sure to bring a bottle of water and a hat, especially on sunny days.
