I may have to cancel bookings from guests who can’t provide their passport info on time. According to the official rules, guides need passport information to prepare the travel plan. Thanks for your understanding. A Licensed English tour guide. A traveler who has visited 60 cities in China in the past three years. Loves performing magic, doing stand-up, and the Terracotta Army. Not a scenery lover — a story lover.

Pickup

We will meet at the main entrance of the Terracotta Warriors Museum. I’ll be easy to recognize: wearing a hat, shoulder-length hair, glasses, a backpack, sometimes a deck of playing cards in my hand.

Description

This is a free premium group tour (no more than 7 people) covers all the pits

Similar group tours at the Terracotta Warriors Museum cost around 350 RMB per person. I once joined one myself—I paid 368 RMB, and there were 12 people. (I still have the receipt.)

🦁  I’m very confident that the experience you get on this free tour is among the best you can find for the Terracotta Warriors — on any platform. I work with these guides every day, giving tours side by side, so I know the general level very well.

The difference between an average guide and a good guide is like fast food at McDonald’s 🍔versus a fresh dish cooked by a real chef. With the chef, you can even chat while enjoy the meal.

As China’s top attraction, there are over 3,000 guides, and only a small number speak English. So if someone can’t even deliver “McDonald’s quality,” please don’t be surprised.

🍎Tips:

This is a free tour. At the end, you can tip what you think is right. Based on the cost level at the Terracotta Warriors, the suggested tip is 200–300 RMB per person.

Of course, there is no shopping stop. Cheap tours make their money from shopping — like “magic bracelets” that cost 1,000 RMB. You won’t see any of that here.

🍋Why I Offer a Free Tour

Sometimes there are more groups and more visitors, so the total income still works out. Also, I’m building a travel content channel on social media. Meeting more travelers helps me collect stories and ideas for short videos. Recently, one of my videos passed 1,000,000 views.🔥

My Background😀

Here are some of the books and materials I’ve studied:《The Harvard History of China》、《A Global History》by L.S.Stavrianos、200+ hours of documentaries、《The Qin Empire》、Books by Yuan Zhongyi, the chief archaeologist of the Terracotta Warriors, etc

🐯People I have hosted include:

economists, consulate officers, doctors, architects, lawyers, diving school owners, world travelers, someone who visited the Forbidden City eight times, magicians… and of course, football fans. Some of them left reviews here. 🎉

My tour style: many good stories, warmly welcome questions, and I explain the Terracotta Warriors with both history and modern China in mind. And sometimes, a small magic trick.
