Forgotten Women free history walking tour
I have been a tour guide for 6 years of Edinburgh, my birth city, before that I briefly did sales, and before that I was an English teacher in Prague, CZ, a city which I moved to accidentally. I'm told I'm very funny, and my tour is the best on the planet. In my spare time, I search for great food and hot chocolate, sometimes I record a podcast, and always I am walking - 20k steps a day last year!

The tour guide will be at the High Street Wellhead, in front of 170 High Street, with a pink and white umbrella.
Description
Discover the Hidden Heroines of History on Our "Forgotten Women" Walking Tour
Spanning over 1000 years of history, this unique tour will allow you to trace the footsteps and hear the stories of female scientists, artists and political activists who changed Scotland - and the world! You'll learn about the 18th century "Queen of Science" Mary Somerville, anti-Nazi spy Elizabeth Whiskeman, and the first seven female undergraduate medical students at any British University.
Tour takes place in the Old Town of Edinburgh with some steep hills and 10-15 stairs. In case of mobility issues please let the guide know so that alternative directions can be taken.
We believe great storytelling should be accessible to all. At the end, you’re welcome to tip your guide what you feel the tour was worth (cash or card accepted).
You won't find these stories on any other tour, so book now and secure your place!
