Description

My Name is Daniel and I have a Bachelor degree in Swedish naval and war history. Join me to discover the Vasa Museum – A Journey Into Sweden’s Maritime Past!

The Vasa Museum is the home to the world’s best-preserved 17th-century ship – the majestic warship Vasa. This remarkable vessel sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged over 300 years later, offering an unparalleled glimpse into Sweden’s naval history and craftsmanship.

We'll explore the dramatic story of the Vasa, from its ambitious construction and tragic sinking to the massive recovery effort and restoration. As we walk through the museum’s impressive exhibitions, you’ll learn about life on board, the politics of the era, and the incredible work that went into preserving this cultural treasure.

🎫 Important Info About Tickets:
The museum entrance fee is not included in the free tour.
Tickets cost 250 SEK per person, and we will purchase them together as a group just before entering the museum. Please bring cash or a card to cover your ticket.

Whether you're a history buff, a maritime enthusiast, or just curious about one of Stockholm’s top attractions, this tour offers a deep and engaging experience you won’t forget.
