Explore Angkor Wat with a local guide
ChumReapSur (Hello)! My name is Chivy, and I'm a local guide in Siem Reap, licensed by the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia. I've been a tour guide since 2018. My other job is a teacher of English language. I speak Khmer, English, and very little Spanish. I love meeting new people and tell them about my country as well as learn about theirs. I love travelling, but I have only been able to afford to travel domestically. Therefore, I hope to have a chance to travel more abroad to see the outside world. I look forward to showing you around. Cheers!

Description
Angkor Wat is more than just a famous temple — it’s a symbol of Cambodia’s soul and strength. With its towering spires, endless galleries, and peaceful courtyards, this ancient site invites you to slow down, look closely, and feel its quiet power. On this tour, we focus on Angkor Wat, giving you time to truly explore and enjoy one of the most iconic places in the world.
What we’ll explore together:
• The grand walkway and impressive front towers
• Long galleries with detailed carvings of ancient battles and legends
• Quiet courtyards and hidden corners most visitors miss
• The central sanctuary and steep stairways leading to sacred spaces
• Peaceful areas still used for worship by local monks and visitors
As your Cambodian guide, I’ll lead you through the temple’s layers — not just stone and story, but feeling and meaning. You’ll hear the legends, see the details others often overlook, and experience Angkor Wat in a calm, personal way. Whether you’re here for the history, the atmosphere, or the beauty, this tour will stay with you long after you leave.
