Luxembourg Open Tour. We are guides César, Luis, and Ori, a team of dynamic individuals with a passion and joy for showing the way while walking through the historic city center. We love hiking, mountain biking, swimming, running, trekking, and cooking delicious food. Our goal is to spark your curiosity and walk through the city, step by step. We will share valuable information for your orientation and stay. The program is designed to contemplate and discover historical monuments, civil works, squares, streets, churches, valleys, rivers, terraces and viewpoints, as well as new art installations throughout the city. We also share relevant facts and interesting facts about the lifestyles of its citizens. Meeting point: Place de Metz tram stop, opposite the Luxembourg State Bank clock tower. You can spot me by my orange hat. The welcome greeting is "Moien."

Description

The Open City Tour is a luxurious experience. We'll admire the beauty of monuments and nature dating back over a thousand years as we walk through the fortresses and castles of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. We'll take a guided tour to discover the Villa Haute, a World Heritage Site.
The meeting point is Place de Metz, upon arrival a welcome greeting, Moien!
Start the tour across the Adolphe Bridge to enjoy the wonderful views of the Petrusse Valley. Continue to Constitution Square, a memorial to volunteer war heroes and the legend of the Golden Lady. The origin of Notre Dame Cathedral. The Monument to Grand Duchess Charlotte. The Ducal Palace and Chamber of Deputies, the legacy of the crown, a family tradition of sovereign monarchs. Place Guillaume II, with seasonal markets and fairs at the Knudler. Casemates Bock and the Chemin de Corniche, with beautiful views of the Alzette River valley. St. Michel Church, the oldest in the country. A stroll through bars, restaurants, and the multilingual culture of Luxembourgers. The viewpoints and elevators of Grund and Pfaffenthal Hills.
