Imagine walking through ancient medinas, where every step evokes centuries of history. Welcome to Fez, where the past blends harmoniously with the present.
As an official GuruWalk guide, I invite you to join me on a fascinating tour of this UNESCO World Heritage city. We'll start our tour at the BAB MADINA hotel, one of the main entrances to the old medina. I'll be waiting for you there with a sign saying "Your GuruWalk guide" and your name so that you can easily recognise them.
Our adventure begins in Fez el-Bali, the largest pedestrianised urban area in the world. We'll explore narrow streets full of life, colour and tradition, from historic sites such as the Nejjarine Museum, Al Attarine Madrasa and Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, to bustling souks such as the Henna Souk and Al Attarine Street.
You can admire monuments such as the tanneries, the Andalusian mosque and the traditional Berber carpet shops, as well as enjoying the tranquil charm of places such as Place Seffarine, Talaa Kebira and the gardens of Jnan Sbil. Along the way, I'll share local anecdotes, historical information and practical tips on Moroccan life and culture.
📍Additional costs: Some optional monuments (such as museums and madrasas) may have a small entrance fee of around €2 per person. The guide will give you the option of entering and paying, or enjoying the explanation from the outside, whichever you prefer.
At the end of our tour, we will return to the same meeting point, offering you guidance and comfort.
💡I recommend wearing comfortable shoes and carrying water, especially in hot weather.

Tout au long de la promenade, je partagerai avec vous des anecdotes locales, des informations historiques et des conseils pratiques sur la vie et la culture marocaines.
