Socialist Stockholm - Historical Norrmalm Tour on Lenin in Stockholm and the World Wars
I'm a young philosophy and history teacher, deeply in love with the rich culture and languages of the Nordic countries. After immersing myself in Sweden for eight amazing years, studying history in Uppsala, and teaching for three, I've almost become an expert of this enchanting region. Since 2023, I've been sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm with curious travelers like you.

The tour will depart from a square called Norra Bantorget, a 5-6 minute walk from Stockholm Central Station (T-centralen). To be more precise, we'll meet at the foot of the statue of Hjalmar Branting, located in the exact center of Norra Bantorget.
Description
The Socialist Stockholm Tour is an experience designed for anyone with an interest in twentieth-century Swedish history. Special attention will be paid to Sweden's role during the interwar period and the history of Swedish social democracy (from the Folkhemmet to the assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme ). The tour also includes references to the modern architecture of Norrmalm, Stockholm as a spy city caught between two blocs, as well as Stockholm Syndrome and the Norrmalmstorg robbery.
Why did Lenin stop in Stockholm to buy a new suit? And how did Anton Nillson, a Swedish anarchist , become a Red Army general? Was Sweden really neutral during World War II? Was Olof Palme the only Western leader to oppose the Vietnam War? How was the Sacco and Vanzetti affair received in Stockholm?
