Hello, my name is Muhammad, a PhD scholar, and I am honoured to serve as a tour guide at the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. As a passionate communicator of history and peace, I aim to help visitors deeply understand the tragic events of August 9, 1945, and the resilience of the people of Nagasaki. My goal is to guide you through this Nagasaki Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Museum with sensitivity and insight, sharing the stories of survivors and the importance of working towards a peaceful, nuclear-free world.

Pickup

I will be there to receive you from this location, and the location name is Atomic Bomb Hypocenter, and I will be wearing a black cap.

Description

Our tour begins at the Peace Statue, a powerful symbol of hope and remembrance, with one hand pointing to the sky warning of nuclear weapons and the other extended in a gesture of peace.

Just nearby is the Fountain of Peace, built to honor the victims who suffered from extreme thirst after the bombing.

We then move to the Atomic Bomb Hypocentre, the exact location where the bomb exploded above the city, marked by a black stone monument.

Finally, we visit the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, where artifacts, photographs, and testimonies convey the devastating impact of the bombing and inspire reflection on the importance of peace and nuclear disarmament.

PLEASE NOTE
The entry fee for one person to the museum is 100 yen.
The ticket for the museum is not included in the free tour.
