Hi! I’m a local guide and a proud Nicaraguan girl who loves to show the beauty of my country. I’m passionate about sharing our history, culture, and traditions with visitors from around the world. I’ll be more than happy to take you on a journey through Nicaragua’s rich heritage—and if you’re up for it, I can even teach you a few salsa steps along the way!

Description

León City Tour Description

Our tour begins with a visit to the Mausoleum of Heroes and Martyrs, where you’ll get an introduction to Nicaragua’s rich and complex history. From there, we continue with a walk through the historic center of León, one of the country’s most important colonial cities.

We’ll explore the Central Market, where you’ll get a taste (literally!) of local life—learning about traditional Nicaraguan foods and drinks.

For those interested, there’s the option to visit the rooftop domes of León Cathedral, the largest cathedral in Central America, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city. The entrance fees for this it is just $4.00 USD per person.

As we walk, we’ll also visit plazas, parks, and significant colonial-era churches, each one with its own story and unique architecture. This tour is a perfect mix of culture, history, and local flavor—all in one unforgettable experience.
