Description
On this tour, we'll learn about Arequipa's history, including architectural sites such as monasteries and temples, as well as colonial mansions with cultural features. We'll also discuss the city's typical cuisine and enjoy a brief visit to the Mundoalpaca mini zoo to see the local animals.
At the end of the tour we will end up at an excellent viewpoint to fully appreciate the city and the volcanoes.
What we will visit:
* The cloisters of the company and we will appreciate the interior of this beautiful convent
* The Plaza de Armas (place where the city was founded)
* The Mario Vargas Llosa public library, where we will appreciate a beautiful armchair made of volcanic ash
and a great work of art made of ashlar.
* Fundo el Fierro The first prison in the city, and we will taste the frozen cheese
* San Lázaro Neighborhood The oldest neighborhood in the city.
* Mundoalpaca Where we will see a museum and typical animals
* The highest viewpoint in the city to admire the entire city and its wonderful volcanoes, and the best place for sunset.
