Edinburgh Old Town Walking Tour with Funny, Experienced, Local Guide (2 hours)
I have been a tour guide for 6 years of Edinburgh, my birth city, before that I briefly did sales, and before that I was an English teacher in Prague, CZ, a city which I moved to accidentally. I'm told I'm very funny, and my tour is the best on the planet. In my spare time, I search for great food and hot chocolate, sometimes I record a podcast, and always I am walking - 20k steps a day last year!
Pickup
Royal Mile, top of Old Assembly Close, near to Wellhead. I will have the pink umbrella.
Description
This is a walking tour of Edinburgh's historic, fabulous Old Town.
With the unassailable facts and wit gained from 6 years of experience, you'll see the city streets which created the modern world, hear about the inspiring people that wrote great literature, and you'll experience the energy of the city from a local, Edinburgh-born guide. A guide so local his birthplace is visible from the tour, which most other guides cannot make as he was such a perfect baby they closed the hospital after.
You'll see the Castle, St. Giles Cathedral, the Grassmarket, and many more. You'll make memories that live in your brain forever and take pictures and videos that'll make all your friends gasp.
Special accommodations can be made to those with mobility requirements though it can be difficult in a city with as many stairs and hills as Edinburgh.
