Description
Join me on a meaningful journey through Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, a place of remembrance and hope.
We begin at the Gates of Peace, symbolizing global unity, and visit the Monument of Dr. Marcel Junod, honoring a Swiss doctor who aided survivors. At the Fountain of Prayer, we reflect on the victims, and the Flame of Peace represents a commitment to a nuclear-free world.
The Peace Memorial Museum provides a powerful history of August 6, 1945, while the Rest House stands as a witness to the past. The Children’s Peace Monument honors young lives lost, and the Korean Victims Memorial pays tribute to Koreans who perished.
We ring the Peace Bell for global harmony, visit the Peace Tower, and finally, the Atomic Bomb Dome, a solemn reminder of the devastation. At the Hypocenter Monument, we pause to reflect on the moment that changed history.
This tour offers a profound understanding of Hiroshima’s past and its powerful message of peace for the future.
