Yogyakarta is the only region in Indonesia that is still ruled by the Sultan (King) as a governor of Yogyakarta. 

During this experience, we will see local activities while exploring a portion of Yogyakarta's cosmological axis, which has many stories and profound meanings.

  • We will start at "Jeron Beteng," Where we can visit the central Gudeg (traditional authentic dish from Java) of Yogyakarta.
  • Northern town square, where we can see the front of Keraton Yogyakarta (Sultan's Palace) and the iconic twin trees in the middle of the square.
  • Zero point of Yogyakarta, where we can see a few old European buildings.
  • Beringharjo Market to see the local activity in one of the oldest markets in Yogyakarta.
  • Ketandan Chinatown, which has a cross-cultural history.
  • Malioboro Street. This experience will be finish here, in the main popular street where the activity is never-ending here!
