I would love to show you 10 places that are not to miss while visiting Toulouse. We will begin in the heart of the city, the famous central plaza of Capitole and head towards the stunning Saint Sernin Basilica, a symbol of Romanesque architecture. There we will make a small stop to admire it and know more about it. We will continue strolling though the tiny streets, enjoying the famous pink bricks and the colorful architecture, passing by the Jacobins convent, a gem of medieval art. Heading down the Garonne river, we arrive to the Daurade, a very lively meeting place. There we can see the dome of the Grave, one of the most famous monuments of the “Ville Rose”. We will also pass by the Pont Neuf, which leads to the left side of the city and talk about the dark history of it. While returning towards the center, we will pass by the impressive and hidden hotel of Assezat. We will finish the tour in the charming neighborhood of Carmes, a very lively part of the old town, where we can find a lot of bars, restaurants and cafes.
