Description

Welcome to my walking tour of the beautiful market town of Romsey in Hampshire, England. This little town has a wealth of history to discover. From it's origins as a Roman garrison settlement, to a convent in Anglo Saxon and then later as a market town centered around a beautiful abbey in Norman times. In more recently it has been linked to the British Royal family with the coronation of King Edward, the home of the Earl of Mountbatten and the place of the honeymoon of King Charles and the famous Lady Diana Spencer.
