This guided tour offers a geographical journey through the historic center of the city, as well as a true journey through time, uncovering how Nice has evolved over the centuries.
The goal is to understand the city’s transformation through its key activities: economic, cultural, religious, and defensive. By exploring iconic landmarks like this one, each stop immerses us in a specific era, shedding light on the trades, traditions, and changes that have shaped Nice’s identity.
This guided tour begins at Place Garibaldi, a historic gateway to Nice, and takes you through the charming streets of the Old Town, past landmarks like the Cathedral of Sainte-Réparate. It continues along the bustling Cours Saleya with its vibrant markets, visits the Opera House, and follows the iconic Promenade des Anglais. The journey culminates at Place Masséna, a symbol of modern Nice, blending history, culture, and urban elegance. At each stop, discover the city's evolution through its trades, traditions, and transformations.
