Along the water to the most beautiful places in the city
I grew up in the Graubünden mountains and made Zürich my new home. Here I studied politics and history and worked as a journalist for NZZ, the oldest newspaper in Switzerland. What I love most about Zürich are the hidden sidewalks along the water. I would like to show you these.

We meet directly under the big, colorful angel (L'ange protecteur) in the station hall (ground floor, end of the platform) in Zurich main station. You will recognize me by the umbrella with a wooden handle.
Description
Zurich is a veritable water castle! Walk with me along the banks to the most beautiful places in the city. From the main train station, we make our way via Paradeplatz to the lake, over the Lindenhof to Platzspitz and back again. The tour begins and ends at Zurich main train station.
We walk along the water to the most magnificent churches and views of Zurich. You will learn about the history of the city and the importance of the waters. A culinary surprise also awaits us. As a local journalist and historian, I am delighted to introduce you to the city on the Limmat.
