I have conducted my food tastings and cooking workshops in Spain for 20 years. After all this time I am aware of nook and crannies tourist would never find on their own. My interest in the pleasurable aspects (art, architecture, gastronomy) of Spain makes me a renowned guide. I would love to share my knowledge and enthusiasm with you.

We start at 11:am.

Explore the flavors of Barcelona in Old Town as I guide you on this foodie tasting walk, I host a mini cooking class in Old Town.
We will visit two contrasting covered markets.
Then do some traditional Spanish and Catalan cooking in my hands on cooking workshop.

Not your typical tasting tour!
Don't eat a big breakfast! Save your appetite for the food we prepare in our mini cooking workshop.
As we tour La Boqueria you may choose to purchase various traditional foods both Spanish and Catalan that you will eat later in my cooking workshop. I will lead you to various traditional food choices and explain their history. (free food samples are not provided in the markets)
You decide your purchases will be by what appeals to your tastes.
However you don't need to spend money in the markets as I provide plenty to eat in the cooking workshop. It's up to you.
After our visit to the world famous covered market La Boqueria we will do
a mini hands on cooking experience where, after making traditional dishes, you relax and sit down to enjoy our cooking efforts.
Recipes for each dish are available so you can recreate these dishes at home.
Then we will venture out to explore another covered market in Old Town. And finally, if desired, I will lead you to the best churros made with Belgian chocolate shop (with 3 flavors of chocolate) in Barcelona.
My Market Tasting Walk will give you an inside experience of the food enjoyed by locals.

An adult is any person 12 years and older. Children are welcome but my cooking workshop is small and only accommodates 4 people comfortably.
Please inquire for exceptions.
Please request allergies or special dietary needs.
Vegan, vegetarian, kosher and halal can be accommodated.

We start at 11:am.
I We will meet in front of the main entrance of La Boqueria market. Outside on the sidewalk across the street from La Rambla.
Hana will be standing on the right side as you face the market.
