Description

The most iconic and famous neighborhood of New Orleans is the French Quarter. The city's very first neighborhood founded in 1718 as a French Colony and is now home to some of the city's best examples of Spanish Colonial Architecture. On this tour we will explore this iconic neighborhood and learn about some of the city's most interesting events and historical figures in the city's storied history.
We will visit Jackson Square and see the oldest building in New Orleans the Ursuline Convent. On this tour we will also talk about the reasons behind the distinct architecture, some facts about Creole heritage and history, see the French Market, and visit Pirate's Alley.
