Description
We will meet at the indicated time at the Place de l'Opéra to begin this evening walking tour of Paris .
The Opera House, also known as the Palais Garnier , will be the first point of interest on our route. There, we'll review the history of this iconic building in the French capital.
We'll continue along Boulevard des Capucines to the Madeleine Church . From here, we'll head to Place de la Concorde , where the famous Champs-Élysées begins.
Afterwards, we'll descend to the monumental complex formed by the Grand and Petit Palais and cross the Seine via the Pont Alexandre III . From here, we'll have fantastic views of the dome of Les Invalides . Beneath it lies the sarcophagus of Napoleon Bonaparte.
We'll continue along the banks of the Seine to pass by the Pont d'Alma , the scene of the tragic accident that killed Princess Diana of Wales . There, we'll conclude the night tour two hours after its start.
