Description

Little India has so much to offer.  More than a must-visit for tourists, locals from all walks of life come to buy fresh food produce, herbs and spices.  Many come here for its delicious Indian food and eat the hearty Indian dish - the Biryani curry rice.  Others would just come to soak in the vibes and enjoy the Indian culture.

This tour offers a captivating journey through one of Singapore’s most amazing ethnic quarters - The Little India.  Travel through the sights, sounds, and flavours and explore how local Indians live, eat and pray.

Starting at Buffalo (Yes, buffalos used to roam down the street) Road, you will witness the vibrant street life and Indian food ingredients.   We will visit the Tekka Centre where a wet market and food centre is located.  Next, we will wonder into another street lined with colourful shophouses and street arts.  As we explore further, we will highlight several shops that will get you intrigued, including shops run by the Chinese and the famous Tan Teng Niah House (a preserved Chinese villa).  We will also visit a Southern Hindu temple, and observe the prayers and rituals of Hinduism.

This tour is a must on the checklist when you are in Singapore. Come join us as you engage your senses with the sights of fresh flower garlands, the smell of spices, the sounds of joyful Indian music, the touch of gold jewellery in your hands and taste some traditional Indian snacks!
