I am Ángela and my passion for Baeza has become my profession: tourist specialist and official tourist guide. After several years of study, training and experience, the time has come to take this step. With all my enthusiasm for Baeza, I have prepared a visit full of history, legends, curiosities, culture and poetry. It will be a pleasure to walk with you through the cobblestone streets of my town, where we will take a trip from Viatia to Baeza.

I will be standing next to the Antonio Machado monument, easy to recognise because it is a life-size sculpture sitting on a bench, and I will also be dressed in green.
Description
'This Baeza, which they call Andalusian Salamanca' , described by Machado as 'a damp and cold town, dilapidated and gloomy, somewhere between Andalusian and La Mancha' . Just over 20 years ago, it managed to become the smallest World Heritage city in Spain.
Since the Bronze Age, civilization after civilization has been aware of the natural privilege of this city, which has meant that today it preserves a great cultural and monumental heritage as well as a very interesting history.
The old town of Baeza is so amazing that walking through its streets is like taking a trip back in time.
