Get ready to see Dubai through the eyes of a local on an exciting walking tour through the Old Town! We’ll start our adventure in the heart of the Al Fahidi District, where the charm of ancient buildings and unique Arabian architecture will take your breath away. This area is filled with quaint structures, art galleries, and traditional houses each telling its own story.
As we stroll through the district, we’ll pass by the Old Mosque, admiring its beautiful architecture that reflects the rich heritage of Dubai. Next, we’ll visit the remnants of the Old Wall, built around 1800 AD, giving you a glimpse into the city’s fascinating past.
From there, we’ll step into the vibrant Textile Souk, where you’ll see fabrics and colors that capture the spirit of Dubai. Here we’ll also enjoy a taste of shawarma, one of the most beloved street foods in the city.
Our walk continues into Meena Bazaar, also known as Meena bazar , where we’ll try authentic street food included as part of the tour. This is a great way to savor the flavors of Dubai the same way locals do.
Afterward, we’ll hop on a traditional water taxi (Abra) to cross over to the other side of Dubai Creek. There, we’ll explore the famous Gold Souk, one of the largest gold retail markets in the world, and the bustling Spice Souk, filled with exotic aromas and flavors that make the Middle East so unique.
