Hello, my name is Katija, I am a local tour guide. My family has been living in Dubrovnik since the 18th century. Dubrovnik is an amazing and beautiful place worth visiting. It is full of interesting stories and you can expect a two-hour tour full of historical details, telling you what life was like during the Republic of Ragusa (Dubrovnik) from the 15th to the 19th century and up to the present day. Also how I survived the 1991 war with my family in Dubrovnik.

Description
We will pass from one entrance to the city to another through the streets to see the history of the city with legends and hear about the way of life in the city. I will show you old family and city pictures so you can experience the history of the city.
If you are really interested in the history of this city, this tour is for you, because when we finish the tour, you will see Dubrovnik with different eyes, the eyes of the past.
The meeting point is on the East side of the Old Town, Ploče Gate of Dubrovnik.
1. Stop is at Ploče Gate (Gate), on the Square of Arms.
2. Stop in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary .
3. Stop in front of the Rector's Palace .
4. Stop at Plaza Major Luza - Sponza Palace - former Customs Palace from the 15th century, city bell tower with clock and Church of St. Blaise, patron saint of the city,
5. The next stop is Široka Street , the widest street in the city, so on that street we will see photographs of the destruction of Dubrovnik, during the Croatian War of Independence in 1991.
6. Walking along the street "od Puča " we reach the place where the orphanage for boys was located, one of the oldest in Europe.
7. We continue to the front of the Onofrio Grande fountain and the Franciscan Church and Monastery where one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe is located and here will be the end of our tour.
The duration of the tour is 2 hours from one entrance to the city to another and can be too long is full of stories for small children.
